Hardy and disease resistant! Enormous flowers!

Hardy, vigorous, ornamental tree that is resistant to disease and insects . Dense, rounded trees are covered by huge, 5-6 inch, white flowers blooming in mid to late May. Deep green foliage turns orange red in fall. Venus is one of the Stellar series of dogwoods bred by Rutgers University. These dogwoods were bred and selected for their outstanding disease resistance and enormous flower power.
