Walk through displays of gorgeous orchids and fantastic houseplants – just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Also come discover Tillandsias or "air plants". Air plants don’t need to be planted in soil of any kind – instead they get nutrients from the air and water. They can be used in terrariums, grouped in an attractive dish, or in a hanging glass orb. Air plants prefer bright, filtered light and only need to be misted to keep them happy. Air plants have a wide range of colors, sizes and textures to choose from. They will even bloom!

Whether you have one special orchid, an orchid in every room, or are scared you’ll kill any orchid you bring into your home, there’s always something new to learn about them! Join Tina Balog, Cape and Islands Orchid Society, for a fascinating seminar on everything orchids. She will discuss the history, different varieties, maintenance and repotting of orchids. If you have a “sick” orchid, you are encouraged to bring it in for diagnosis and discussion. Q&A welcome!
