Q&A: Got Ticks?

Did you know that ticks originally get the Lyme disease from mice? Even though people call them, “Deer Ticks” the real problem comes when ticks live around mice – that’s when the Lyme disease transfers from mice to the tick. Ariana from Damminex Tick Tubes will be here to answer all your tick questions and share a secret with you about how to end your tick worries. Uncle Mike swears by them! Here’s how it works: the Tick Tubes are filled with cotton balls coated with a permethrin insecticide. When you place the tubes around foundations, wood piles and other natural nesting areas, mice pull the cotton out to make their nests. Then, the deer ticks that feed on mice in the Spring and the Fall are exposed to permethrin and die. The mice and other mammals are unharmed. How awesome is that? Come on in to hear it for yourself!
