Container Gardening, have you tried the Holey Cone Aeration product?
Question
Container Gardening, have you tried the Holey Cone Aeration product?
Additional Details
I recently planted several containers with the Holey Cone and my plants look better than ever..and I’ve been planting for a very long time, over 60 years. Do you have any suggestions or ideas for the summer heat, I would like to try roses? I found the product on their plant warrior website, it seems new but maybe I just missed it last year.
Answer
We have ‘Pot Holes’ drainage disks that will help with moisture and drainage. It is clay spheres in a nylon bag that when placed over your drain hole will retain moisture and improves air flow.

Pot holes and Holey Cones
Hi, I tried the Pot Holes placed over the drainage holes but they did not improve my plants at all, they added moisture. The holey cone really helped my vegetables and flowering plants, if you look at the pictures on their site you’ll see how the cone goes up into the root systems. I would like to buy them in stores, but it seems they only sell them on the website. Hopefully I can find them local soon. Thank you
