REALLY brown lawn

I am using your organic lawn steps (thanks to your organic adviser James advice) but I haven’t been able to water. I have a well and a water filtration system and am concerned about my well going dry from alot of water use so that’s why I can’t water. I water in after the steps but that’s all. As the weather gets cooler will my lawn come back in the fall? It has in the past but this has been a brutal summer for heat and lack of rain. Thanks, as always, for the great advice!!!
