Stop in or call to donate a Christmas Tree to a Military Family for $24.50

Delivering the spirit of Christmas to military families, one Christmas tree at a time.

Imagine somewhere on the other side of the world, a group of U.S. troops gathered around a fresh, real Christmas tree that was express shipped from the states. Or imagine how a military family of a deployed loved one would feel if they received a real Christmas tree, given by a caring family they have never met. This is the mission of "Trees for Troops", a national charitable campaign that provides real Christmas trees to members of the armed forces and their families at more than 60 military bases in the U.S. and overseas.

This year, come to any of Mahoney’s 8 Garden Centers between November 7 – December 2 to donate a beautiful 7-foot Balsam Fir tree to a military family. For only $24.50 (these trees normally sell for $29.50) your donated tree will be picked up and shipped by FedEx to one of over 60 military bases across the country and overseas. A gift card with your Christmas wish or message of gratitude will accompany your tree.

Want to donate, but can’t make it to one of our stores? Now you can donate a tree by phone! Simply call 781-721-4691 and donate a tree using a credit card. Donations are tax deductible, plus for every tree donated, Mahoney’s donates $5 to the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation.
